Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. One-time gifts
Because Day One Paws rapidly deploys gifts toward verified clinical costs, donations are generally final. If you believe a gift was made in error, contact support@dayonepaws.org within seven (7) days and we will review in good faith.
2. Recurring pledges
You may pause or cancel a Day One Paws recurring pledge at any time through the link in your confirmation email or by contacting support. Cancellations stop future charges; prior completed gifts remain subject to Section 1.
3. Duplicate or unauthorized charges
If you see a duplicate or unauthorized Day One Paws charge, contact us immediately. We will investigate with our payment processor and issue a refund where appropriate.
4. Tax receipts
If a refund is issued, Day One Paws will adjust or void the corresponding tax acknowledgment as required.

If a featured patient’s needs are met or change, Day One Paws may apply remaining restricted gifts to substantially similar emergency surgical care consistent with donor intent and applicable law.

Supporting Day One Paws does not guarantee a particular medical outcome for any animal. Timelines, OR holds, and clinical status can change without notice.
